MINIATURA

“Miniatura” explores the timbral possibilities of the solo piano through a singular extended technique. The piece adopts a minimalist approach to sonic texture, prioritizing extreme economy of expressive means. The composition unfolds via the interaction of discrete sonorities and resonances, achieved through sounds that are both percussive and resonant. Attention is drawn to the intrinsic quality of small sonic elements distributed throughout the acoustic space, capable of expanding or contracting into gestures of differing density or dynamic intensity.
