MATTEO CENERINI

I am a composer, guitarist and performer based in Milan, with a strong interest in the scenic and performative dimensions of musical composition.

My work as a composer focuses on instrument preparation, physical and automated objects, purpose-built constructions, and the integration of visual and gestural elements into the concert situation. As a guitarist, I work primarily in free improvisation, with an approach rooted in the physical and material possibilities of the instrument. My practice extends into interdisciplinary collaboration and performance work across music, dance, poetry and visual arts.
