OLTREPASSO
OLTREPASSO was born in 2022 from an idea by musician Matteo Cenerini and writer-performers Giorgio Kralkowski and Lorenzo Manenti. In the small, semi-abandoned village of Osacca, in the Apennine mountains near Parma, a series of artistic residencies have taken place, bringing together practitioners from across disciplines in a shared research process. Over the various editions, Osacca has been temporarily reinhabited by musicians, poets, writers, performers, painters, sculptors, photographers, illustrators, tattoo artists, installation artists, movers and dancers, coming from Italy and abroad, including Norway, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Russia and Japan.
Throughout the residencies, artists have lived together, sharing both artistic research and the rhythms of everyday life. OLTREPASSO places equal value on the production of artistic outputs — multidisciplinary performances, publications, concerts and podcasts — and on the collective human experience of bringing a forgotten village back to life, if only for a limited time.

LE TRACCE DEL SENTIERO – RESIDENZA 2024
Moving through the stone paths and abandoned houses of Osacca, the residency gathered artists across disciplines (music, writing, performance, visual arts) to inhabit a landscape where absence takes on material weight. Working collectively toward a final public event, participants left traces that, layered together, pointed beyond any single presence.
IMMAGINAR-SI ABBANDONI, FALÒ, CASE SPARSE
RESIDENZA 2024
Exploring abandonment, memory, and non-human agency through ritual, fire, and collective practice across the scattered stone houses and forests of Osacca. The residency moved through sites of ruin and absence, questioning the boundaries between human and non-human, subject and object. It concluded with an editorial archive gathering the objects, writings, and traces produced during the week.
